Book your MOT in New Addington

An MOT is an annual legal requirement to ensure road safety, but it does not mean you should be overcharged. At D.R.A Services, we ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy for the year ahead by organising your MOT at a local test centre at an affordable price.

An MOT, or Ministry of Transportation test, is an annual inspection mandated in the UK to evaluate your vehicle's safety and exhaust emissions. Without a valid MOT certificate, you cannot renew your road tax, and your car will be uninsured. MOT testers, accredited by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA), assess your vehicle against specific safety standards to determine whether it meets the necessary criteria to be deemed safe and roadworthy.

We prioritise getting you back on the road quickly without finding unnecessary faults. We always seek your approval before starting any work, if repairs are needed.

Our dedication has made us a popular choice, and we continually strive to deliver outstanding results and expand our expertise to assist as many customers as possible. When you choose our car garage for your MOT, rest assured that you and your vehicle are in safe hands.

The Bongo king and queen! Very knowledgeable, very helpful, very transparent. They go the extra mile. Great communication too. Treat your bongo to some DRA TLC 🔥
Bernard
Great service and at a reasonable cost. Mazda Bongo specialist
Catherine
My usual garage was closed for Christmas and I had a problem that could not wait. Martin was absolutely fantastic in identifying the problem and giving me honest feedback. Being a woman who knows little about cars it feels like I'm at risk of being scammed because I simply don't have in depth vehicle knowledge - there was none of that whatsoever. He explained things well, clearly, honestly and realistically. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here or recommend. Just a good local honest mechanics.
RiCo
Knowledgeable, friendly and (from my experience so far...) trustworthy.
Craig Barnes
DRA are not your usual mechanics. They are engineers, problem solvers, fountains of specialist knowledge gleaned though experience and intelligence. Brilliant service and support over many years with our Toyota Hiace. We’ve moved half way across the UK but still bring our van back to Martin, Daniel and Karen every year for servicing and any work needed. They are passionate about their work, a rare beast in this day in age!
Robert Banaszkiewicz
100%Trustworthy garage, always explained what had been done and what needs to be fixed.
J B
I have used DRA Services on several occasions over the past year to service and repair my ageing motor and every time I have found them to be a good, trustworthy garage that does an excellent job in fixing the car and one that charges a fair price. It has been a rare first class experience and I will confidently use them when needed and can fully recommend them.
Simon Payne
Highly recommended! They've been so helpful, honest and knowledgeable since the first phone call to when I picked my van up. I've got a Mazda Bongo and you can tell how much experience they have in looking after them. Even though I live in East Sussex, I'll be a repeat customer for sure.
Graham Bell
Excellent in all respects, servicing and fixing my Mazda Bongo. Clearly listened to what was needed, in depth investigation of problem, crucially stocked the needed Bongo parts, clear communication. Evidently knows Bongos inside out. Runs great now, I am very happy. Graham.
Jilly Griffin
A great family business. They know everything about Nissan Elgrand. I feel they really look after me and keep me on the road. They give good warning of when things need to be replaced. I value their expertise, courtesy and service.
Adrian lynch
Excellent service very knowledgeable friendly staff
Paula Wilkinson
Soooo handy this place being relatively local as poor Vera the Bongo needed help beyond our ability. Friendly, helpful staff who do a good job and do what they can to keep down costs where they can. I suspect that, being Bongo owners, we'll be putting more dosh in the DRA coffers from time to time! Worth it though.
Hugh Williams
Martin is great - super knowledgeable, helpful and above all honest and flexible. DRA have been great and I will be bringing both my car and campervan here going forward.
Richard Barsby
Look no further, Martin knows Nissan Elgrands inside out with over 30yrs of experience. Among other things he fixed a broken aircon, gave me some very sound advice and I left his garage a very happy camper driver! Going back for some heavy duty rear springs soon.
steve caton
Took my first ever Bongo in for a full health check and to have a coolant alarm fitted, Martin was great spending lots of time with me after to explain all that was found. Really helpful and really put my anxiety at ease, looks like I’ve found my go to Bongo man in the south east 👍

    • I've been going to D.R.A for a while and when I had my first car a Peugeot 206, they were so friendly and honest which was important to me as I had no clue about cars. Therefore, I always went to them for anything because I knew they wouldn't try to take advantage of my inexperience. They are efficient, experienced, reliable and honest mechanics. I recommend to anyone especially anyone who have trust issues with mechanics 😊
